Cacao Barry The Barry family began their adventure in 1842 when they traveled to Africa to seek out and collect a selection of cocoa beans, with the goal of making chocolate unlike any the world had ever tasted. Purchased by the enterprising La Carré family in 1923, the company got into the international market, investing in cocoa plantations, factories and communities on two continents - in Africa and South America - during the same time.

Zanetti - the world market leader in Grana Padano and Parmigiano Reggiano cheeses. The company was founded at the end of the 19th century in Bergamo, Italy, by Guido Zanetti, an expert in the technology of "ripening" hard cheeses (of the "Grana" type - cheese with a hard and grainy structure). By 1940 he had established himself as one of the leading 'maturer' technologists of Grana Padano and Parmigiano Reggiano, not only in the region but throughout Italy. Hermitage is an association of dairy farmers from the Vosges region, North-Eastern France with a history dating back to 1931. AIA - Italy's No. 1 producer in the European Union's food sector. The company was founded in the late 1960s with its headquarters in Verona and was the first to introduce chicken and turkey sausages to the market in 1985. Maffei  - family-owned Italian fresh pasta company. The company was founded in 1960 and has since gained a market presence in North America, Canada, Taiwan and Japan.
